Privacy Policy

Tuckaway is made by Handler Labs LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains how Tuckaway handles your information. The short version: we built Tuckaway so we never see your money data. It stays on your device.

The short version

• No account. No sign-up, no email, no password.
• No bank login, ever. Tuckaway never connects to your bank.
• No ads. No data sale. No third-party tracking.
• Your budget data lives on your device. Any future sync runs only through your own iCloud.
• Apple's privacy label for Tuckaway is "Data Not Collected."

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Tuckaway has no user accounts and asks for no personal details. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or financial accounts.

The data you create

The envelopes, transactions, and budgets you enter are stored on your device by the operating system. They do not pass through any server of ours, because we do not operate one. A future update may add optional iCloud sync; if you turn it on, that data would travel only through your own private iCloud to your other devices and, if you choose, a partner you share with — and never through a server of ours. You can export everything as CSV or JSON, or erase all of it from inside the app (Settings → Erase all data), at any time.

Subscriptions

If you buy Premium or Lifetime, Apple processes the purchase. We read only your subscription status so the app can unlock premium features on your device. We do not receive your name, card number, or billing address.

Analytics and tracking

Tuckaway does not use advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, or third-party advertising networks. We do not build a profile of you.

Children

Tuckaway is a general-audience app. It is not directed to children, and because it collects no personal information, it collects none from children either.

Your choices and rights

Because your data is on your device, you are in control. You can export it as CSV or JSON, or erase all of it from inside the app (Settings → Erase all data) at any time.

California privacy rights

Tuckaway collects no personal information, and Handler Labs does not — and never has — sell or share personal information. Even so, California residents have the rights to know, delete, and correct the personal information a business holds, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. Because we collect nothing, there is no information to access, delete, or opt out of, and no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link is required.
